Return Policy

Effective Date: March 16, 2026

This Return Policy applies to online store purchases of consumables, replacement parts, accessories, and other eligible stocked items sold by TensileMill CNC, Inc. through the TensileMill CNC website (collectively, “Products”).

This Return Policy is intended to be clear, easy to find, and applicable to general returns, including returns requested because a customer changes their mind, as well as claims involving wrong, damaged, or defective items.

Capital equipment, specimen preparation machines, tensile testing machines, quoted systems, service work, installation, calibration, training, and custom-engineered projects are not covered by this online-store Return Policy unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

 

1. Standard Return Window

You may request a return of an eligible Product within 30 calendar days after confirmed delivery, provided that:

– the Product is a standard stocked item;

– the Product is unused, uninstalled, and unmodified;

– the Product is in its original packaging with all manuals, labels, certificates, accessories, and protective materials intact;

– the Product is in resalable condition; and

– you obtain return authorization from TensileMill CNC before shipping the Product back.

Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.

 

2. Buyer Remorse or Non-Defective Returns

If you ordered the wrong item, no longer need the Product, or otherwise wish to return a non-defective item for convenience, we may accept the return if it meets the eligibility requirements above.

For approved non-defective returns:

– a restocking fee of up to 20% of the original item price may be deducted from the refund;

– original shipping, handling, brokerage, duty, and similar charges are non-refundable; and

– you are responsible for all return shipping costs and transit risk until the Product is received and accepted by us.

 

3. Wrong Item, Damaged Item, or Defective Item

If you receive the wrong Product, a Product damaged in transit, or a Product that appears defective on arrival, contact us within 5 business days after delivery.

Please include:

– your order number;

– the part number or product name;

– a description of the issue; and

– photographs of the packaging, shipping label, and item where applicable.

If we confirm that the issue resulted from our error or from transit damage properly reported to us, we will, at our option:

– replace the Product;

– ship the correct Product;

– provide a refund; or

– provide reasonable instructions for return shipment at our expense.

 

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return unless required by law or approved by us in writing:

– custom-made, custom-machined, modified, or private-labeled items;

– special-order or non-stock items sourced specifically for a customer;

– electrical, electronic, software-enabled, or control-related components that have been installed, energized, programmed, activated, or opened beyond normal inspection;

– calibration certificates, inspection services, engineering services, training, installation, service visits, and other performed services;

– items marked “Final Sale,” “Non-Returnable,” “Special Order,” or similar;

– used, worn, damaged, contaminated, incomplete, or altered items;

– hazardous materials, chemicals, adhesives, coatings, lubricants, or any item that cannot be safely resold;

– obsolete or discontinued parts sold on a clearance basis; and

– any Product returned in packaging that is materially damaged, missing, or unsuitable for safe handling and resale.

 

5. Return Authorization Process

Please provide:

– your order number;

– company name and contact details;

– the Product name and part number;

– quantity being returned;

– reason for return; and

– photographs if the return involves damage, defect, or shipping error.

If your request is approved, we will provide return instructions. Return authorization does not guarantee final credit; all returned Products are subject to inspection upon receipt.

 

6. Packaging and Shipping Requirements

Approved returns must be shipped:

– in the original packaging whenever possible;

– with all included accessories, documentation, and labels;

– securely packaged to prevent shipping damage; and

– freight prepaid unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method. We are not responsible for returned shipments lost or damaged in transit.

 

7. Inspection and Refund Timing

After the returned Product is received, we will inspect it to verify eligibility and condition. If the return is approved, any refund will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

Approved refunds are typically processed within 10 business days after inspection. Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to post the credit.

If a returned Product does not meet this Return Policy, we may:

– reject the return;

– return the Product to you at your expense; or

– offer a reduced refund based on the Product’s condition, missing components, damage, reconditioning costs, or applicable restocking charges.

 

8. Exchanges

If you need a replacement part or different compatible item, contact us before placing a new order or returning the original item. We may, at our discretion, offer an exchange where stock and product condition permit. Exchange transactions may require payment of any price difference, shipping charges, or applicable fees.

 

9. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before shipment only if processing, sourcing, packaging, or special procurement has not already begun. Once an item has shipped, the order is subject to this Return Policy.

Custom, special-order, and non-stock items may not be cancelable once procurement or production has started. If cancellation is accepted after work has started, cancellation charges may apply.

 

10. Compatibility and Application Responsibility

Because industrial replacement parts and consumables may depend on machine model, revision, tooling setup, voltage, dimensions, software version, and intended application, customers are responsible for confirming compatibility before purchase.

Returns caused by incorrect compatibility information supplied by the customer may be treated as non-defective returns and may be subject to restocking fees and non-refundable shipping costs.

 

11. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Return Policy limits any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
